Below is a list of our common fees, accurate at time of publishing. Price changes will occur over time, and we will endeavour to update them in a timely fashion.

PLEASE NOTE – these fees are for our CORE CATCHMENT AREA ONLY – the area within the purple outline.

Insurance

Vet2Cat recommends covering your cats with Pet Insurance. We can handle insurance claims as any veterinary practice does; NB – we charge an administration fee of £17.50 for each claim processed. This is to cover the cost of paying a staff member to do this, plus the cost of data handling and storage.

In general, you need to settle your account with us, and the insurance company will reimburse you minus any excess fee, part-payments, or uninsured items. We may be able to process a direct claim for large bills, IF the company has agreed to cover the claim – a pre-authorisation claim must be submitted to assess this. We can help you with any paperwork required.

It is note-worthy that some policies may not cover the cost of call-out fees for house visits.

If you are choosing a policy:

There are hundreds of policies available, it can be difficult to choose one. We are not an insurance advisor so cannot recommend any particular policy. In general, look for policies which give life-long cover (not time-limited) and provide several thousands of cover per condition, or per annum, or unlimited cover. Cheap policies can seem attractive, but please read the T&C’s to check exactly what they will and will not cover.

Claire and the team offer such an amazing service. I have 2 rescue cats and it's so much easier having a vet come to the house to give them their health checks and vaccinations. They love cats and offer a really caring and professional approach. It saves time for me and my cats are much happier being treated in their own home.

Thank you so much to Claire and Alli who came out today and put my 15 and a half year old Ragdoll to sleep today. I am beyond heartbroken but they have saved me the stress of taking him to the vets, it was done in the home he spent his life in. He slipped away while I was holding him in my arms and he just looked like he went into a deep sleep. Thank you for your compassion and kindness.

Would recommend Vet2cat was only with them for a short time, but they gave good care to Akeesha before she passed recently both Claire and Emma were always at the end of the phone, very professional will go back to them in the future when the time is right

Can not recommend vet2cat enough, lovely vets and nurses who came to our home to see Lulu, needless to say as a nearly 'senior' cat getting in and out the cat box is traumatizing and exhausting , so this was a very welcome change. I cannot thank Claire and Ali enough for coming out to give Ginger his booster last month, It made my life a lot easier having just had surgery and being unable to get out of the house. Ginger was more than happy to see them, something that doesn't happen when taken into the vet centre! She was on hand today to help when my other cat became unwell and is coming out to see her to give an expert opinion following our emergency visit to another vet this morning. I value Claire's advice over any other vet and would trust her with my cats lives. The amount of extra certificates and training Caire has done speaks volumes! This service is the best idea and such good value for the expertise. Keep up the good work sweetheart x

The most dedicated, professional and caring vet I have ever met. Claire has been treating my cats for the past 6 years, she is very experienced and thorough and her diagnosis of issues have always been spot on even when other vets have missed things. My cats are much better being treated at home they get very stressed by just being put in a carrier and it's even worse taking them to the vets, you can tell how caring Claire is because she is thinking of them by setting up this home visiting service.

Claire is very professional and caring. Arranged home visit for my 2 elderly cats not knowing what to expect. Claire messaged me before she arrived to let me know she was on her way. She was very caring and understanding around the needs of my cats . Her assistant sorry can't remember her name was also lovely. My cats felt very comfortable. They were with me for at least an hr cats getting blood tests being weighed fleaing and worming all the time giving me advice. My cats do not like going in a car and are very stressed by the time we get into the vets so this has been an calm and pleasant experience. Also they had healthy treats on hand. Claire kept me updated around the blood tests and we went though the medication one of my cats will need to take as he has now a thyroid issue Would recommend vet2cat to any one with cats.
