Out of Hours

In the event that you need urgent advice or need to see a vet outside of our regular hours follow this advice:

  • If you are registered under a different practice to Vet2Cat you should call your own practice’s contact number first.
  • If you are not registered with any practice – you should call the VetsNow below
  • If you are a registered client of Vet2Cat – in the first instance call the usual number. You should hear a voicemail advising you to call straight back if it is urgent.

We will endeavour to answer the phone outside of normal hours to provide TRIAGE ADVICE ONLY. This will be to decide if you cat must be taken to an emergency practice as soon as possible, or if it is likely to be ok to wait until our next available appointment slot. Video messaging can be useful for this, if you are able to FaceTime or Skype. Nothing can replace a proper hands-on examination, so if after the call, you feel your cat is deteriorating, call back or call VetsNow immediately.

The local VetsNow phone number is 023 9298 4615.
VetsNow is based at Mountbatten Estate, Jackson close, Farlington, Portsmouth, PO6 1UR.
