Cat of The Month July 2019 – Angus

Every month the Vet2Cat staff will nominate and vote for a winner of Cat of the Month. We will look for attributes such as cuteness, cheekiness and swagger!
This month, we narrowed it down to a top 3: Bob, Bella and a late entry, Angus. It is very difficult to pick a winner but our final choice is Angus!
CAT OF THE MONTH – ANGUS
Angus is a cheeky 3 year old all black fella. He was a little bit anxious with our arrival, but a constant supply of Dreamies helped soften the blow, and he could not resist a little play with our feather toy! Proving that no cat can resist getting into an empty cardboard box, here he is squeezing himself into a rather narrow catnip scratcher box – bit of a tight fit!
RUNNER UP – BOB
A close runner up, Bob is a gorgeous 16 year old black & white old guy. We loved it that he came to see us off after the visit, and when Claire came back to deliver some meds, he was guarding the territory sitting on the wall!
RUNNER UP – BELLA
Unfortunately, we didn’t get a good photo of Bella in all her tortie glory. She was very shy and a little nervous, and only briefly managed a little head rub before retreating behind the sofa again! Here is half of her, under a towel having an infected bite wound treated by vet Claire.
